Thirty Years Later: Reconnecting with Jack Cordella

I recently made a trip to Indianapolis where I had dinner with my childhood friend from Worcester, MA.

Jack Cordella and I grew up in a great neighborhood where we had so many kids to play with whether wiffle ball in my backyard, Little League at Tris Speaker, or punt, pass, & kick between the streetlights.

Jack and I hadn't seen each other in over 30 years, but it was natural right from the start.

Dialogue Miles™ also represents the distance traveled to spend time with people, and it turns out this time made a real impact on me.

Reflections from the Reunion

  • Make the Call and Reconnect
As Jack said, do not leave any clubs in the bag. Reach out. Reconnect.

  • Some Bonds Last Forever
There is innocence in the early days and it's a truly special moment when you see someone who was there at the start.

  • Keep It Simple
Jack and I will have a beer and maybe hit a few golf balls in the backyard.
