Movement Creates Clarity

I recently had the chance to spend some time with David Taylor, taking a break from the office to walk 1.5 miles Dialogue Miles™ through London. What stood out was how much ground we covered in conversation.

Where the Conversation Went

We moved from the psychology behind Dialogue Miles to the learned benefits of meditation, and inevitably to sport. We seemed to dive deepest into the ways people connect, something that comes naturally to some and requires real intention for others.

We spent time on:

  • The power of asking questions

  • Meeting people from all walks of life

  • Choosing mutuality over division

This conversation was proof that meaningful connection is built, not stumbled into.

Discipline, Performance, and Perspective

David shared his impressive triathlon successes.

During the 2025 season:

  • 5th in the World Long-Distance Championships

  • 6th in the European Middle-Distance Championships

  • 1st in the English Sprint Duathlon Championships (50–54 age group)

Looking ahead to 2026, he’s preparing for four championship races across World and European competitions, hoping his body cooperates with the plan.

A Simple Reminder

Walking through a city as dynamic and distracting as London is a reminder that movement creates clarity. When exercise aligns with passion, it becomes an enabler for a great life.

Even a straightforward stroll can cut through noise, slow the pace, and create space for the conversations that matter most.

A Final Thought

There are so many parks historic and landmarks that we miss when focusing on getting there, our walk was more about being there.

David, thank you for the time, the conversation, and the perspective. Wishing you the best as you prepare for the season ahead.
