Where It Started: Seven Miles with Chloe Adams
My first Dialogue Miles™ walk was 7 miles with Chloe Adams in Cincinnati, Ohio. A little drizzle couldn’t keep us from taking the opportunity to walk, especially in our matching siY, LLC hoodies!
During our walk, our conversation covered many topics. But one that struck me the most was when I asked Chloe about her dreams and passions. With much clarity and detail, she shared her hopes for the future. We agreed that having people in your life whom you trust is invaluable and one of the greatest gifts you could ever experience.
We've had the opportunity to take many walks over the past year or so due to the work we do together. Around Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA, at a winery in Livermore, CA, in Ohio on a golf course in the rain, on a phone call across the country, in Detroit on the riverwalk exploring historic landmarks, and on the concourse of an airport. We've covered many miles while discussing our lives, dreams, and, of course, work. We each have a keen sense of the other’s emotions, inquiring how we might help or simply providing a safe space. Chloe’s kindness in supporting my purpose and vision, and believing and living those principles along with me, has been an enabler for the growth of siY.
