An Unexpected Dialogue Miles Moment with Christophe Peix in Nashville

A meeting at BNA with colleagues from Paragon ID provided an unexpected experience for Christophe Peix and me in Nashville.

As our meeting concluded, the team mentioned that Christophe had never been to Broadway. With a quick change of plans, we headed into the city.

A few hours later, we enjoyed great conversation and some unexpected outcomes, an impromptu example of Dialogue Miles™ in action.

A Few Things That Stayed with Me

  • Say Yes to the Moment
Sometimes the best outcomes come from changing the plan and leaning into what is right in front of you.

  • Shared Experience Builds Connection
Spending time together outside of structured work creates a different level of relationship.

  • Kindness Matters
Choosing to include someone in an experience can turn an ordinary moment into something memorable.

  • Find Common Ground
We quickly found shared roots—engineering backgrounds and a mutual appreciation for Bordeaux wines.

After a few songs on Broadway, I invited Christophe to join Mark Brumfield and me for dinner in the Gulch. That conversation once again highlighted a shared commitment to caring for the planet, paired with an additive view of technology. Our discussion spanned AI, global warming, RFID, supply chains, French and US politics, and family—a true reflection of the rich dialogue Dialogue Miles™ fosters.
